Automated Energy partnership to identify energy usage trends with concurrent data

Renewal with Missouri River Energy Services extends affiliation for three years

OKLAHOMA CITY (Oct. 7, 2020) – Automated Energy Inc., an Oklahoma city-based company, has renewed its contract with Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) to provide member municipalities potential sustainability benefits and cost savings through energy data and management tools.

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the United States’ primary energy consumption was about 17% of the total world’s primary energy consumption, with the U.S. only having 4% of the world’s population. Automated Energy customer engagement tools help municipal, commercial and industrial energy customers to properly interpret energy consumption, find possible energy bill reduction opportunities and reduce energy usage across the country.

MRES has members located in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, as they work to offer effective energy and energy services. Through this collaboration, Automated Energy will load meter data throughout each participating MRES member municipality and download and share the data with MRES through AEI’s Load Profiler service.

“Energy consumption and reduction has quickly become a hot topic of discussion,” said Automated Energy President Cody Graves. “We want to be a resource and knowledge bank for MRES’s member municipalities, showing businesses that small changes can make a big difference in their energy usage and our world today.”

MRES is comprised of 61 member municipalities that own and operate their own electric distribution systems. Dedicated to supplying its members with reliable, cost-effective, long-term energy services, MRES works to remain fiscally responsible and environmentally aware.

“We are constantly looking to find additional ways to help our members and their customers use energy wisely through service offerings,” said Joni Livingston, vice president of member services and communications for Missouri River Energy Services. “Automated Energy offers our member municipalities an easy and reliable way to make data-driven decisions regarding energy consumption and cost savings.”

Automated Energy works with clients in 48 states providing a range of data collection and energy management solutions to businesses and utilities.
